CASA is my village. I learned about service, strength, and drive from my CASA, the office crew, and my case supervisor. They were all strong women who taught me how to grow and become a strong woman. I now do youth advocacy and motivational speaking, and all it started with CASA. 

They made me the first-ever “Outstanding Youth of the Year”, and from that moment, I have been on a stage trying to fight for children without a voice. I don't really speak to my former CASA often, but she changed my life and made sure I made it to college. She and I were the dynamic duo for CASA. We got to represent CASA on the Dr. Phil show and in multiple local papers. We grew together as speakers and people during our time together. She created experiences for me that I can never replicate. Thank you CASA.
